Did you know you can book your appointment online? Using online services makes it more convenient for people at our practice, as there’s no need to make a phone call or visit us. Computer, smartphone or tablet users can make or cancel an appointment at a time that suits them, even when the practice is closed. If you are not already registered for GP online services please let a member of the practice team know you would like to use this service.
We run all our afternoon surgeries by an appointment only system. If you require an urgent appointment to see the Doctor please telephone the surgery on 02084 720669 or 02084 721077 from 8:00am but before 8:30am to be seen on the same day Monday to Friday. Appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance by ringing any time after 9am. Doctors see a few extra patients on a daily basis which is filled on a first come first served basis. We try to make sure you see the doctor of your choice but if they are not available we may ask you to see another doctor.
NEWHAM ACCESS 7 DAYS A WEEK SERVICE
If you are at work or can’t attend an appointment at your practice during the day please see the document below.
If you are too ill to come to the surgery and you require a visit at home, please call the surgery before 10am. Patients are reminded that a night visit should only be requested in an emergency, which cannot wait until the next surgery. Home visits take up much more of a doctor’s time than a consultation in the surgery, so if you are mobile please come into the surgery to be seen.
If you have signed up for Internet access, please click the link to book an appointment. Please log in at 07:50 in the morning if you require a same day appointment or any time for a future appointment. You can only book appointment up to 4 weeks in advance and with your own GP or Dr Hussain. Please note you can only book one appointment at a time and hence if you have an appointment already booked, you will not be able to book another appointment online.
If you have an appointment at the Surgery it is important that you arrive on time. You can self-check in by using the touch screen in reception. If you are late by more than 10 minutes for an appointment the practice has the right to ask you to reschedule your appointment. Please do not ask the receptionist if you can be seen as this can cause unnecessary problems.
If you are unable to keep an appointment you must contact the surgery on 0208 472 0669/1077 to cancel the appointment at least 15minutes before your appointment time. If you fail to attend three appointments and do not cancel the appointments, you will be removed from the surgery list. You will receive a letter from the Health Authority informing that you will be removed from the Practice list, which means you will no longer be registered at the Practice.
